Fatal Attraction

ladies and gentlemen, girls and boys, romans and angels, lend me your ears!

what do you do when you are caught in a love triangle? not your own triangle but as an observer. most of us either gleefully spread the gossip, or, shrug it off as "par for the course". but what if all the participants of the triangle are good friends of the observer?

Adultery is a definite no-no in my books. i am a strong advocate of the theory that we all make our own choices - every single one of us are exposed to temptations at various stages of our lives, but it is our CHOICE to succumb or to walk away. our decision, our choice, ours alone and no one else's.

so how did he, who is the epitome of a good husband, get caught in this web of deceit that seems prevalent in many marriages?

so do we tell the wife or drop big hints so that she can step in to fight for her husband? do we tell the star-struck lovebirds that we know and what they're doing is wrong? do we tell the husband to pull back and go home? do we tell the wayward young lady to turn her attention to the unattached guys, and there are enough out there.

and like the youngster says - every decision we make comes with a consequence that we have to live with - a profound statement from a 16 year-old really.

so what do you think should be our decision as the caring observer?

i guess, my opinion is that you should advise the lady because she'd be more willing to listen to you than the man will be. no good can come out of them staying in this sort of relationship. none at all.
