Grumpy old people

why can't grown-ups act like grown-ups?

just because they are parents and older, they think they are always right! that they have the right to be unreasonable and expect perfection - but perfection according to whose standards?

I don't believe that there are always clear rights and wrongs - there's usually two sides of the story. but as long as all of us remember that we should not harm another, nor deliberately destroy another person's soul or reputation, nor deliberately be disrespectful, and as long as we know how to acknowledge our mistakes and regret the wrong words or actions said or done at the wrong time, we should all forgive one another and not keep the ugliness going just to feed one's ego and selfishness.

We are all here to learn from each other, no matter how young the other person is, there is always something that we can learn from them, if only our minds are open, and we are receptive to another person's viewpoint.

One will be amazed at what revelations lay ahead.
